Fight HQ is an inclusive online store with the driving purpose to change lives through the journey of training martial arts! It is a purpose that runs so deep at the core of the business that they got our own creative director into a 10 week muay thai challenge to better understand the industry.
For this project, we looked after the branding, strategy, creative direction, campaign design, webstore user interface design, signage design and almost every service we provide. Now with the business live and growing steadily, we're stoked to maintain an ongoing creative partnership with these guys.
Although the original brief is now a long distant memory, the basic foundations were about building an ecommerce business and platform within the martial arts space that was about more than selling goods. It was about building a brand that had personaily and purpose, that actually makes a difference and improves the lives of those involved.
With everyone invested within the business knowing the benefits and value that martial arts brings to their lives, they wanted the bring this knowledge and benefit to everyone.
The main Fight HQ brand has been built around the concept of 'open palm, closed fist' which is a sign of respect within martial arts. With a brand voice centred around being inclusive, respectful, persistent and powerful, this became the perfect symbol to represent the brand. Building the brand from here included, working with Muay Thai world champions to build the strategy and shooting local fight nights to get imagery, it has been a process that we are all pretty stoked to have experienced.
