An entirely new platform and marketplace that allows you to organize and book your entire wedding in one place! Oooft!

The Wedding Piece is Australia's first wedding marketplace that brings all possible wedding services and vendors into one simple user friendly location. It allows couples to search through numerous vendor categories, send messages, get quotes, confirm bookings and take care of payments.

Beginning with client workshops, we determined all the features and inclusions to build a master project framework, built out wireframes, developed a prototype for visual feedback before moving into final UI design.

THE PROBLEM.

NO EASY WAY EXISTS

Chasing vendors, paying invoices, trying to keep track in your wedding journal, post-it-notes, or spreadsheets. Wait, do people still use spreadsheets?

MULTIPLE COMMUNCAITON CHANNELS

Keeping on top of enquiry emails, phones calls and messages is difficult at the best of times. For couples, keeping on top of each enquiry channel is painful, so we’ve put them all in once place, with one messaging system.

TIME CONSUMING & STRESSFUL

For both vendors & couples, creating magic for the dream wedding is tough work. If you’ve planned a wedding - you get it, no need for us to waffle on. If you haven’t, ask a friend for enlightenment... you might need a beer, it’ll be a long chat.

Our inbuilt messaging and quoting system allows our couples to connect with vendors, ask questions, get quotes and pay vendors directly all in one place. No more jumping between emails, messages and missed calls.

MORE THAN JUST BOOKINGS

Arranging your bookings is one thing, but this app gives couples a place to arrange their guestlist, their budget, to do lists and the runsheet for the big day.

FOR COUPLES.

Planning a wedding is stressful! Going between emails, messages, invoices, carrier pigeons and trying to remember that photographer your Aunty told you about last Christmas, it gets a bit confusing.

So the goal for us was to give couples all the services, suppliers and tools they need to take care of everything in one place.

Obviously, the ability to book different vendors included the ability to send messages, get quotes and even look after the payments. But we also included the simple things, a budget tracker, a guestlist builder, to-do lists and a wedding day runsheet.

FOR VENDORS.

Running a wedding business can be stressful with trying to keep couples happy and help them have the best day of their lives. No pressure, right?

Vendors typically all have different booking systems and enquiry processes that all take time. So we built the application to give them all the resources they need to get more enqiries, streamline their quote process and save everyone time.
