We invited 25 of the Gold Coasts leading creatives to visualise their relationship with their mental health. Using 70s-era skateboards as the canvas, we're hoping to normalise the effects of mental health in the creative industry and beyond.
The last few years have really tested peoples resilience, between a pandemic, border closures, floods, inflation and other factors, figures indicate that more people are struggling with Mental Health more than ever before and the lead times to get help is worsening.
People find it hard to talk about their mental health and it is hard to articulate, so we thought it would be a great idea to visualise this and help to normalise it.
Through the support of ticket sales and people bidding on the boards, we managed to raise a total of $5,741 for Never Not Creative and those affected by floods this year.
