Bloom Microdose Branding Packaging

a whole new
take on
mushrooms.

With magic mushroom ? trials now being approved in Australia we thought it was a good time to showcase this brand we did last year for Canadian psilocybin microdose brand - Bloom.

As a supplement for wellness, they wanted the brand to be professional, clean and welcoming but also still have the element of fun and psychedelic.

With a simple sans serif typeface paired with black for the professional side of things we offset it with textured psychedelic gradients and a cheeky smiley face with dilated pupils for good measure.

The
Result.

Developing the logo for Bloom Microdose was an interesting exploration. As a psilocybin (magic mushroom ?) microdose supplement that is supposed to enhance your everyday cognitive ability it has to appeal to normal people and also the *traditional* consumer of such a product.

Trying to pair two contrasting styles together - one being clean and professional, the other psychedelic and fun.

To create the professional feel we went with a clean sans serif paired with black and white. To bring in the psychedelic vibe we introduced gradients to bring in that hippie or tie-dye look. All that paired with a sneaky face with dilated pupils creates a fun brand with a story to tell.
